Disaster Instructor Specialty Training

Registration:

All Red Cross classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and advance registration is required. To pre-register, you must either call (805) 687-1331 or stop by the Santa Barbara Headquarters (map). Course Content:

Disaster Instructor Specialty Training is an instructor-led course designed to prepare knowledgeable and experienced Disaster Services workers to teach basic level disaster training courses, thereby ensuring uniform and quality disaster training consistent with Red Cross policies.

Prerequisites:

Fulfilling Our Mission, Client Services, Shelter Operations/Simulation.

These are advanced courses. In order to enroll, applications must be filled out three weeks prior to course date and submitted to Louise Kolbert, Director of Emergency Services, (805) 687-1331 ext. 121.
