Overview
Emergency Services fulfills the American Red Cross Mission by
reducing human suffering and helping people prevent, prepare for and
recover from natural and other disasters.
Join a DAT Team
Disaster Action Teams are groups of chapter-trained volunteers who
respond to disasters and help meet the immediate disaster-related
needs of the affected people.
Disaster Response Training
Disaster Training courses include Introduction to Disaster Services,
Community Services Overview, Shelter Operations, Shelter Simulation,
Family Services: Providing Emergency Assistance, Fundamentals of
Disaster Assessment, Logistics: an Overview, Logistics Simulation
and ERV: Ready Set, Roll. Please contact the chapter for information
