2008 Award Winners American Red Cross Santa Barbara County Chapter

Los Olivos, CA, June 4, 2007 - On Wednesday night, June 4, at 5:30 p.m., the American Red Cross, Santa Barbara County Chapter kicked off its 2008 Volunteer Recognition Banquet at the Crossroads at Firestone Family Estates. The event was filled with a friendly mix of Red Cross volunteers, employees and guests. The theme: “Volunteers are as Good as Gold” Guests were encouraged to dress like a pirate… if they dared. It was once again a resounding success!

Years of Service Honorees

Several individuals celebrated 20+ years of service with the American Red Cross at this year’s event

• Celebrating 20-years of service: Susan Ceriale, Ilise Garvin, JoAnne Plummer, Anne Stark, Mort Ward.
• Celebrating 40-years of service: Alexander Posada

This year, a standout group of Chapter employees and volunteers received awards for their incredible dedication and hard work. Winners included:
