Volunteer Resources
Volunteer Handbook
The Volunteer Handbook was created to provide you with some essential
information about policies and expectations of the Santa Barbara County
Chapter. This handbook has been organized by topic to help you find the
information you need easily. Please take the time to read through it and
refer back to it as questions arise. You are also encouraged to speak
with your supervisor and/or the Office of Volunteers & Youth staff if
you have any questions about the content of this handbook.

Agreement Forms
If you have not atteneded a volunteer orientation, please do not complete these forms! See the
Volunteer Orientation section for more
information.
The American Red Cross requires that all volunteers read and confirm that
they have read and understood two forms: the American Red Cross Code of
Business Ethics & Conduct
and the Confidential Information and
Intellectual Property Agreement. All volunteers must have a
confirmation for each of these forms on file here at the
Santa Barbara County Chapter of the American Red Cross. For your convenience
we have supplied two methods for satisfying this requirement. You may
either submit the online version with the click of a button or mail
the printed, completed PDF version.
