Volunteer Orientation
The first step towards becoming a Red Cross volunteer is to attend a
Volunteer Orientation. Here you'll learn about the history of the Red Cross,
our mission, what we do and how you can get involved! Orientations are
offered free of charge at our offices in both Santa Barbara and Santa Maria.
- When: Santa Barbara orientations are held the 2nd
Thursday of every month from
5:30 – 7:00 p.m. The next dates for orientations are: June 12th, July 10th, August 14th and September 11th.
- Where: 2707 State Street, Santa Barbara

- How: To register for a Santa Barbara orientation,
contact Lauren or call her
at (805) 687-1331 ext. 119. The course will be cancelled if there
are no registered participants!
- When: Santa Maria orientations are held the 1st
Thursday of every month from
5:30 – 7:00 p.m. The next dates for orientations are: June 5th, July 3rd, August 7th and September 4th.
- Where: 3030 Skyway Driver, Santa Maria (map).
- How: To register for a Santa Maria orientation,

him at (805) 928-0778. The course will be cancelled if there are no
registered participants!
